In May of 2022, after noticing that very few homes are designed by architects, I started Black Bison Architecture to help people design homes they absolutely love.
Most homes in America are designed by contractors whose main goal is construction speed, so their designs are optimized to this end. This approach to design doesn't result in well thought out spaces with the homeowner's day-to-day life in mind.

As an architect, my main design goal is the user's experience. I'm constantly considering how people flow through and utilize a space, as well as aesthetic proportion and every client's personal taste in materials and colors. This leads to homes that my clients love to spend time in every day of their lives. You spend more time in your home than any other place on earth, you should love it!
